Notes on lighting selection:
1. For residential lighting, incandescent lamps and rare-earth energy-saving fluorescent lamps should be used.
2. Low color temperature light sources should be used in bedrooms and dining rooms.
3. The lighting of the living room should consider the requirements of multi-functional use, such as general lighting, decorative lighting, floor lamps, etc. Sometimes dimming devices can be installed in the living room to meet the needs of different functions.
4. The local lighting of the restaurant should use hanging lamps to highlight the effect of the dining table. At the same time, general lighting should also be set up to make the whole room have a certain degree of brightness and show a sense of cleanliness.
5. Kitchen lamps should be of a type that is easy to clean, such as glass or enamel lampshades with moisture-proof lamp ports, and should be consistent or similar to the color rendering of the lighting source used in restaurants.
6. The entrance hall is the place to enter the room to give the first impression, so it should be bright. The location of the lamps should be considered to be placed at the entrance and into the junction of the interior, so as to avoid the shadows on the visitors' faces.
7. Setting lights on the cabinets or walls in the hall will make the hall feel spacious.
8. The lighting in the corridor should be placed at the entrance and closet of the room, especially the starting and directional position of the stairs. When setting up the chandelier, make the lower end of the lighting more than 1.9M above the ground. Staircase lighting should be bright to avoid danger.
9. The bathroom needs bright and soft light. Since the illuminator in the bathroom is switched frequently, it is more appropriate to use an incandescent lamp as the light source.
10. The square halls, passages and toilets in high-end residences (apartments) should use rocker switches with indicator lights.
